When talking about exhaust modifications like the Master Cars Wireless Cut Out, you’ll always hear comments such as:

👉 “That will ruin your engine.”
👉 “The exhaust will break from the pressure.”
👉 “It’s dangerous!”

But… how true are these claims?

Let’s break down the myths and reveal the real facts.

❌ MYTH 1: “The Cut Out damages the engine.”

🔍 Truth: The Cut Out does NOT connect to or modify your engine. It simply releases exhaust gases before reaching the muffler.

No ECU modifications
No fuel injection changes
No interference with critical sensors

✅ Your engine keeps working exactly as it should. Only the exhaust flow path changes.

❌ MYTH 2: “The exhaust will break.”

🔍 Truth:
If your exhaust is in good condition and properly installed, there’s no risk.

The Cut Out System is welded or clamped securely.
It’s made of high-temperature, vibration-resistant steel.
It doesn’t generate extra internal pressure or damage.

❌ MYTH 3: “It can damage the turbo.”

🔍 Truth:
In turbocharged vehicles, as long as the cut out is installed after the downpipe, there’s no issue. This is even common practice in racing setups.

✅ Why Is the Wireless Cut Out Safe?

High-quality certified materials
Motorized valve with controlled opening
No impact on combustion cycle
No error codes or sensor damage
Reversible installation if needed

⚠️ Usage Recommendations

Don’t open it when the engine is cold (to avoid condensation issues)
Have it installed by a professional if unsure
